Fan-shaped specimen of rare yellow brucite from Pakistan. Although brucite in other colors (white, green, brown, gray) is found in other localities around the world — including several in the U.S.—, yellow brucite such as this comes only from Pakistan, the result of a find in 2015. This specimen has a beautiful lemon yellow color on the outer areas. Contact area across entire back, where it was removed from the host rock. Nice example of this interesting mineral.
